Last night Nguiu residents were treated to a visit from musician Jimmy Little as a part of his Northern Territory tour, some of us were lucky enough to also catch him at Gunbalunya (Oenpelli) Open Day over the weekend. Jimmy performed with Bede Tungutalum (one of the two founders of Tiwi Design) at the Nguiu club. Some of the Tiwi women also sang for Jimmy. This morning Jimmy visited Bima Wear wearing his new shirt the ladies made for him. Noella introduced Jimmy to all the ladies, including Marita Kantilla and Lucia Pilakui who were involved in making Jimmys new shirt. Everyone enjoyed singing along with Jimmy Little to Baby Blue and Royal Telephone.

Hey what a hoot, two Indigenous legends come together, Bima wear and Jimmy Little. Well done Bima Wear and all you wonderful women. I reckon Jimmy would have been pretty tempted to stay in Nguiu forever. Beautiful shirt ladies.
Lots from all your Adelaide mob, Hugh, Sarah and the boys and a big hug for Maren.
